yah, i don't know much about her, but from watching the shows she's not racist. people are just too sensitive. she is being "standup" like.
Agreed.

But there seems to be something a bit more sinister in the many of the attacks against Lena Dunham. And I don't know if it's because she's being especially provocative or if it's because she's a young woman. I have a feeling it's the latter.
Its mainly because she is a young woman and a successful one.
Also, she isn't classically attractive. Which seems to piss people off for some reason.
only cuz she shoves it in your face
I don't think that's true.
i do, i agree with mecca. thats my issue with the constant nudity. we get it, you're proud of your "average" body. super.

I really don't think Lena looks/thinks about it that way. I think maybe folks who take issue are projecting.

Joking aside, I'd probably really like "Girls"--ever since I've moved in with my fiancee, I've watched so many more shows that are about women, and most of them are very good or great (Gilmore Girls, Roseanne, Golden Girls). Maybe we'll put it on the to-watch list.

Great. The show about the most uninteresting people on television is back.

Sorry, I suppose I'm just jealous of Leah Dunham's success. Congrats, Dunham, I don't know how you fooled them all.
