I way over romanticized karate kid 2. I like where they took the story, and that Peter Cetera song Glory of Love is still incredible, but it’s nowhere near as good as the original. It also has what must be considered one of the dumbest lines of dialogue ever:
Daniel: You could have kill him, couldn’t you?

So why didn’t you? Why didn’t you just kill a man in the parking lot after a karate tournament?

Mind blown: Macchio is older than Thomas Ian Griffith, who played Terry Silver in the movie!
This movie has sooo many plot holes, but it was more enjoyable than I remembered. My kids both liked it more than part 2.
We may begin Cobra Kai tomorrow. I’m excited!

Jesus, watching movies at home with my kids is some kind of torture. They don't shut and ask constant questions. It's like watching a movie with my head in a blender.
