You know what I have not done yet is search for shortcuts on any of the tracks. Some are obvious (if you have a mushroom) but I have a feelling there are tons that I haven’t noticed.
I was half joking about myself. But I know tree and chud and MD are all really good. I used to race against chud all the time back on the Wii online racing. Me, him, Wes C. Addle and tryinmorning. Those guys were good.

When will Nintendo actually release a new Mario Kart?!

Or at least new courses

yeah 200cc goes against all of my intuition in this game, which is mostly never braking.
Damn. I have a feeling I won’t be earnestly pursuing this.
Nah, just do it. If you are half as good as tree, MD, me or chud, you'll get it. Play a few rounds all the way through, don't quit just because you didn't get first in a race. Practice your braking for a few rounds of races and you'll catch on. The hardest one for me was stupid baby park. Not because of the braking, but I think the computer was just harder and the items barrage in that one was a massacre.
Getting halfway decent at 200 also makes you much better at 150, because you'll learn to use your brakes every so often instead of sliding off course.

The game is 7 years old at this point. I'd rather just had a new one.

7 years is nothing. It's not like a sports game where all they have to do is update the roster. Plus it hasn't been left behind in a console gen leap. Updates are entirely sufficient for such a game.

Yes, but Nintendo also likes money.

Eh, the game on the Switch first came out on the Wii U

If they came out with a DLC of 12 new courses and a few new carts and characters for $20, they would make a killing

But it doesn't look notably dated. Nintendo hasn't boasted the best graphics for ~25 years. They're gameplay kings.

Mario, Daisy, Boo, Toad, and Bowser Jr are top tier.

“pro” New Donk is pretty fun.

Hole 11 on Bowser’s course is a dick. That green could not look more like a penis head.

Just a guess, but the next update has gotta be either Luigi’s Mansion related and have Dry Bones and maybe King Boo as playable characters or Metroid related to coincide with the new side scroller and have Samus as a playable character.

I love that Boo’s special shot “haunts your balls.” It’s such a fun and threatening thing to declare when you use it. “I’m gonna haunt your balls!”

Love Boo, he just has the worst aesthetic. They didn't even dress him up for golf.

My buddy shot -19 with Toad on Bowser Highlands yesterday.
