I had a similar experience. I was going through my intelligence schooling and we got to leave base for the weekend so I saw this in the theatersAnders wrote:I genuinely love this movie. Luc Besson somehow hit magic when he made this and Leon. Because most of his movies are below par. It was the first movie I saw in the cinema at the camp after I joined the military back in 1997. Difficult to describe, but I got a really special feeling from it at the time, probably due to being in a new situation and environment.Still, at any time I've seen it, it's been a good experience. Don't think Besson could have caught lightning in a bottle with a sequel, so glad we have what we got.
