Maybe my favorite archival record this year.
Haven't listened to it yet, but soon. I wish there was a more affordable vinyl option.

I know, right? You think they'd throw the commoner a bone and put the one disc version on LP. But really, the three disc set is tremendous, beautifully packaged (tons of photos), great sound quality, and some ferocious playing. I'm about to fire up the DVD and watch the live clip of Pushed it Over the End.
This is probably the classic rock release of the year. Although I am really looking forward to the 3LP Greyfolded set that should start shipping soon.
I sold a sealed copy of Evil Urges for 30 bucks this week. I think dude got a good deal on that. I probably could of asked $50-60.

I'm still looking for a copy of Evil Urges; it's probably my least favorite MMJ record, though, so I don't want to spend more than $25. Every once in a while I get a camelcamelcamel alert for less than $20, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Back to that CSNY set: I'd be more than willing to spend something in the $125 for that set with minimalist packaging and no Bluray. "...housed in a custom laser-etched birch LP folio case." I mean, come on! And I love how it's $499...plus shipping. They couldn't even throw in shipping for you!
(Also, the cheapest shipping option to a US postal address is $52 )

Jesus. That's kinda sickening.
I would of gladly hooked you up with that LP, bummer. Wish I knew you were looking for a copy

Really enjoying the new Wolves in the Throne Room album:
I've never been into their previous material but this one is right up my alley.

i think it deserves the love it's getting, but i am annoyed she (and the skull) aren't reflected in the water. not to mention that the sky in the water is the wrong color.
Rangi, ever hear of the NZ band, Treehouse? They have a new one, Interzone that I've been streaming almost daily, and I'm really considering paying the hefty international shipping for the LP.

Never heard of them - must hunt them down and have a listen.
Want me to work out if it'd be cheaper for me to pick up the LP and send it?
