separately, a few questions have popped in my head the last few days on this:

Why was the body guard the one giving Cornell the two Ativan? Was Cornell not supposed to keep them himself?

Why was the body guard fixing his computer? Who actually fixes a computer these days? Either they work or they don't. If they don't, you go to the apple store.
Chris was a rock god, not an IT nerd.
When his bodyguard asked him what was wrong with the computer, Cornell replied "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGHHHHHHHH I HAVE A VIRUS"

CC's mother in law destroying EV on twitter. Guess he didn't call or send condolences. Trying to interpret social media posts is always tricky, but seems EV was maybe not a fan of Vicky Cornell. Anyway, Vicky's mom is certainly now no fan of EV.

That's dumb. Maybe he just didn't want to intrude on the family during their time of mourning.

I get that the MIL must be distraught but man, people grieve in their own ways. I don't see how having a nonsensical rant on Twitter helps anyone...

Yeah just saw some of those. Yikes, This should not be done in public. Not telling her how to grieve, but keep it private. No good can come from calling hin out on twitter

I'm sure the band will be at the LA services Friday and then fly to Amsterdam for Saturday's show.

Toni Karayiannis tweeted:

My heart breaks to see kids abandon by fathers friend???? Especially one totally devastated and in disbelief! U fooled her to believe u care

Don't u dare cry crocodile tearsU not using Chris not a chance! Now the world knows what nothing u r of a manShe cried last night asking why

The world is mourning an angel ! Chris Cornell! Except one person the person he helped the most! Not human not a man!

Shame on u for hurting his kids! Spare me your crocodile tears! And don't u dare say his name ever!!U pretend is all abt his kid? Ha! EVIL!

Can I also use this opportunity to say a massive FUCK YOU to Alternative Nation.com for using cheap clickbait titles related to Chris's death to drive traffic to their website e.g. "Police Reveal If Chris Left A Suicide Note, Is There A Motive?"

Man, the abbreviations and grammatical shortcuts people have to use on Twitter always make them sound stupid.

it's a little strange that EV is missing the funeral, no?

or is he going to fly half way around the world and back for it?

Yeah I think he is going, then flying to his first show the next night. Thought I read that here, somewhere.

someone on another pj board posted something allegedly from jill's instagram saying that her husband "left for tour".

hard to imagine him not being there, but who knows?

Jeez. If he doesn't show at Chris' funeral... that would be pretty shocking.

Man, that twitter rant is ugly.

It also seems to be coming from whoever runs the Chris Cornell Fan page twitter account.

I think Ed's fans would rather see him go to the funeral than make his show in Amsterdam. I know that's how I would feel.

I think people are super messed up over this. I think for the PJ guys, this is much bigger than Cobain.

Yeah, I totally agree. He really needs to be at the funeral. Chris meant everything to PJ and Ed personally owes Chris a great debt of gratitude. I'd be stunned if he didn't go.

Other than losing a band member or immediate family member, I can't think of anyone more important to PJ in term of both career and personal relationship.
