Agree to disagree. Not that they aren't trying to celebrate. I believe they believe they basically are. But that was never what I was getting at with my post. It's precisely Bill Simmons' way and level of celebrating that I fear will ruin the movie and make me hate myself for every liking it.

I think you can still treasure a movie and not care about what a complete stranger thinks about it.

What was curious about my statement?

Moving toward 'hating yourself for ever liking something' I gather my hyperbole meter was off, it sounded outlandish but these days I can never be too sure of honest sentiment.
