Ishtar is a great film.

Mostly enjoyable episode last week, I particularly liked the scenes at the hotel & Patti Lupone's bit. Another downer of an episode for Marnie though, so much for her & Ray, as if we really thought that was going anywhere. Things seem to be going too swimmingly now for Hannah & Adam. We know her grandmother is near death this week, I wonder if that's going to pull Hannah back to her usual self? There's only a couple left this season, you know there's got to be a shoe about to drop.
As an aside anyone else watching Looking? After a meandering start it's gotten pretty good; I'd be surprised if it is back for a second season though.

Joe, is there an episode where Hannah talks about her own mortality in a less flippant manner? If so, which episode and what season, please.

And in your opinion, what is Hannah's biggest flaw?

Also loved seeing Amy Morton and Sarah Steele on the show. Fingers crossed that Sarah's character shows up again from time to time. She's a GREAT foil for Hannah.

what if Shoshana isn't real and she's just everyone's conscience personified?

That was a lights out finale. Just lights out. Embodied everything I adore about the show. It was emotional and awkward and hilarious and honest. Everyone was featured but it didn't feel forced or rushed. Progress was made. We're seeing characters change and develop in new ways.

Might go down as one of my all time favorite episodes of the show. Again, I tip my hat to you, Ms. Dunham.

I didn't think this show could get worse, but life at a college in Iowa appears to be on the horizon.
