The Last Duel also looked awful. That trailer made me wince and sigh right out loud in the theater. It physically hurt me.
But people seem to like it? I don't know. Adam Driver's in it so I'll probably end up watching it at some point to see for myself. But that first trailer I saw was yikes!

I mean, it kind of is. I tend to really like Ridley Scott's stuff. And that cast is bonkers.

there weren't many Great horror films this year, not like there were in 2014-16, and I miss finding them over and over again; I guess that's what happens when a genre blows up in popularity, the gems get harder and harder to find among the basically fine

I was just talking to my dad on the phone and he told me he watched House of Gucci. I asked him how it was and he said the cast did a great job, especially Carlos Rens. It took a few moments for me to figure out that my dad legitimately thought Adam Driver's name was Carlos Rens

It really bugs me in Back to the Future that after the lightning strikes sending Marty back, the storm mysteriously stops. No lightning. No wind. No nothing.
