I'm guessing next season takes place on between semesters, or at least predominantly in NYC. But if not, I have no doubt that Lina will make it work.

The whole Jessa becoming that old photographer's assistant so she can kill her is a terrible storyline. Out of nowhere, rushed, and lazy.

I agree that the story felt rushed. I disagree that it's out of nowhere, terrible or lazy. And stretching it out too more would have been a bit dangerous. Part of the impact is how quickly it all happens. But, yeah, they could have used two or three more scenes between Jessa and the artist to flesh it out a bit.

I think all of Jessa has been kind of a mess actually. Her impulsiveness and inability to change could be handled in a much better way. A lot of it too forced for me. Like when dude comes back from rehab, they talk in the store for 5 minutes and the next thing you know they're stealing money and blasting coke. I'm all for character "undevelopment" as far the people don't change argument, but her's is lacking any kind of depth or introspection.

I think that's the point. And I've known people just like her. It rings true to me, on the whole. I had no problem with her relapse with the guy from rehab. I really bought all of that.

I gave up in the first few episodes of last season. Which is a bummer, because the first season and some of the second season was really great.

Just finished up a rewatch of the back half of S3 just to remind myself where we're at. S3 had a really strong final run of episodes.
