Hang on, they should never play Elderly Woman again, but you pick Daughter in the 4th round?!?cutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter
Daughter is an amazing song. It doesn't even compare to Small Town.4/5 wrote:Hang on, they should never play Elderly Woman again, but you pick Daughter in the 4th round?!?cutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter
I can't get behind this.cutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter is an amazing song. It doesn't even compare to Small Town.4/5 wrote:Hang on, they should never play Elderly Woman again, but you pick Daughter in the 4th round?!?cutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter

while i like them both, Daughter is by far and away the better songcutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter is an amazing song. It doesn't even compare to Small Town.4/5 wrote:Hang on, they should never play Elderly Woman again, but you pick Daughter in the 4th round?!?cutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter
They should never play Daughter again either, but the studio version is magnificent.4/5 wrote:Hang on, they should never play Elderly Woman again, but you pick Daughter in the 4th round?!?cutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter

im actually hoping to get the reworked version at one of the shows i go to this year, hopefully they have figured out how to do it by then thoughLament wrote:They should never play Daughter again either, but the studio version is magnificent.4/5 wrote:Hang on, they should never play Elderly Woman again, but you pick Daughter in the 4th round?!?cutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter
I don't have anything against Daughter, really. I just happen to love Small Town, especially live, and especially when the whole building screams "hello." Sorry Ruddo. I just kind of figured if you didn't like one live, you may not like the other: both acoustic based pop songs that are played to death, etc. Daughter does have cool tags sometimes, but hey, to each his own.cutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter is an amazing song. Seriously. There's so much more going on than in a cretin little ditty like Small Town.Birds in Hell wrote:cutuphalfdead wrote:Daughter is an amazing song. It's one of the band's best songs.
There may be, but while it's not ground breaking at all, it's an enjoyable enough little ditty and like stip I enjoy those collective group moments of PJ shows.cutuphalfdead wrote:Seriously. Also, Small Town was the first song I ever played and sang in front of people, so there's a certain nostalgia at play.
dude, you need to go listen to that song again, you must not remember itJuvenal wrote:Adam, Chud and Platy are, respectively, working the shaft, tickling the balls and licking the tip for me at the moment. Nicely chosen, fellas.
I would also have picked the good Doctor for the common courtesy of a reacharound but then he went and chose All or None (sorry Doc!)
I've tried to like it. Honestly, I have!Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:dude, you need to go listen to that song again, you must not remember itJuvenal wrote:Adam, Chud and Platy are, respectively, working the shaft, tickling the balls and licking the tip for me at the moment. Nicely chosen, fellas.

Excellent parallel. Much like PJ & Daughter, they probably have 50-75 songs better than this, but both are still enjoyable enough live.cutuphalfdead wrote:4/5 wrote:There may be, but while it's not ground breaking at all, it's an enjoyable enough little ditty and like stip I enjoy those collective group moments of PJ shows.cutuphalfdead wrote:Seriously.
