I went into it with the hubris of thinking I remembered the general plot so I found it basically inscrutable and had to stop. Rewatching from S1 now.

I've been thinking about the dreaded CONTENT lately. Are we drowning in art? How much do we really need? How much is too much?

For people that watch movies every day, or multiple movies a day, what are you getting out of it?

It's good there's so much out there because it in increases the odds of something good being created. Just need reliable sources to suss out which are and aren't worth your time. It's up to you to decide how much consumption is necessary.

TV is better than movies.

My meticulous tracking of everything I watch introduces an element of gamification into my movie watching habit. That halps me to stay motivated to keep watching even when I'm not super into it.
My pace also slowed recently, I think maybe because I hadn't seen anything great recently. The gamification element keeps me moving through those low periods. And then I watch something that really excites me and I want to watch more to find more stuff like that and feel alive again
