They have some sort of complicated deal with AMC and Netflix, worse case scenario for a season 4 would be it's a netflix show.

Is this worth getting caught up on? I have 5 or 6 episodes on my DVR, not sure I want to watch.

Yes. Episode before the finale was outstanding. Acting at its finest.

They are terrible at cliffhangers.

So, who, if anyone, was in the trunk? What is going to happen to Sarah? Did whats his nuts actually kill all the girls or was he just running his mouth because he's a terrible husband and wanted to be killed? And what happened to Callie? Or whatever her name is. Or maybe we found out and i missed it.

Point is: I guess i dont really care. Detective Holder is the only reason to watch this show.

Strat, you crazy. That was a solid ending to what I thought was the best season of the show so far. It played heavily on the theme of "The Killing" from the victims themselves (Callie, Bullet, etc.) to their families (Bullet's funeral, Callie's mom reaching out) to the irreversible effects of capital punishment (steward) to Linden's final decision and the effects of a killer's actions on their families and loved ones. And they did without resorting to the boring blah-blah-blah-omfg-insane-plot-twist structure. Way better than the whole 'Who killed Rosie Larson' theme of season's 1 and 2.

Didn't like that last scene at all. The rest of the finale was really good though.

Skinner hinted in the car ride that calle is in one of the lakes with the other girls I thought. There were signs I missed that it was him all along. I really felt Peter Saaragard brought alot to the show. He really nailed a innocent man with a checkered past who gave up hope of being freed only to die when there was a slight glimmer of hope that never came for him.

I don't believe there was ever anything in the trunk. Skinner simply was a man who gave up on life as his past jsut caught up with him.

Bummer. I thought the third season was the best one.

Huh. Is there any plot left without resorting to some tired courtroom melodrama?

Last season was the best of the three, so I'll be watching this.

Why bother if your season will be that small or is it Netflix's new marketing strategy to get new subscribers by giving semi-popular shows proper endings?

Just finished Season 3 and thought it was fantastic. Holder is easily one of my favorite characters on TV. Looking forward to Season 4 in August. Joan Allen is joining the cast. She's a fucking great (and underappreciated) actress.
