i had hope for marnie last episode when she looked momentarily disgusted by desi, but then he started going down on her and she just got off. same old marnie.

Shosh and Ray get back together and are now the main focus of the show.

Hanna is literally a crazy person and gets committed for the remainder of the season. Laird is also in the psych hospital.

Adam dumps he dumb new gf and is now dating/hate fucking Jessa, they probably start shooting dope together eventually.

Shosh+Ray(greatest couple ever) & Adam+Jessa(lol) double date & hilarious shit happens

Still not caught up. But the second episode of this season was a monster. One of the best of the series. I LOVE it when Lena gets all meta.

The other two were decent but not as engaging as I would have liked. Fairly weak overall with a couple of super strong scenes. :cough -- neitherwrittennordirectedbylenaIwonderwhatifanythingthatmeans-- :cough:

Though I do have to give props to Bruce Kaplan for Ray's fantastic rant at the car honkers. That was fucking GENIUS. I can't tell you how many times I've fantasized that exact situation. Just... sheer brilliance. Fuck me, this show.

I way more interested in the side characters (Hannah's parents, Ray, Adam) than any of the four "friends".

Adam's arch on this thing has been sublime. It's amazing how he's shifted and changed over these last four years. Definitely one of the most compelling characters on the show. Ray's on a similar path, though it's taken a bit longer for me to get on board with him.

I still Shosh and Hannah are wonderful characters and I get exited when they have scenes. I'm super pissed at Hannah right now and I'm looking forward to seeing her "grow up."

Maybe that never happens.
