argo is not wrong here. i was trying to think of a movie that left an impression on me at a young age and i came up empty.

man, im not sure....but i would say Masters Of The Universe fuck it up badly for me...i was a huuuuge He Man fan and was stocked to see the movie, i only saw this little trailer before...went completely in the dark...I arrived a little late i think and BOOM He Man fucking lost?? Skeletor won??? WHAT THE FUCK WAS HAPPENING

I watched more movies when Netflix mailed you DVDs.
They had almost everything somewhat mainstream , you didn’t have to go around looking for what was on what service. I set aside a time to watch instead of always having it there and “I will watch later” sets in.
I’ve seen a few movies on HBO but my movie watching is way down.

It's objectively not her accent. It's not usually a problem and I don't care about accents, but in this case Monroe's voice kinda stands out as part of her persona, so it feels off to me.

I think that's actually the point of the movie, judging by the trailer. The woman herself is playing the Marilyn Monroe character, and nobody actually saw who she really was behind the curtain.

I guess I just don’t know or care much about Marilyn Monroe or the actress playing her which is why it doesn’t matter to me.
I didn’t know there were so many Monroe heads on the board.
