Solid episode; several pretty, pretty good LD rants.
Yeah, as a couple people pointed out before he fills the “Kramer” role on the show.psychobain wrote:Leon is the best thing about this show since his first episode
Yes, it was a step down, but I still had some laughs. The eggs thing was dumb. Who brings their own ingredients to a restaurant?Biff Pocoroba wrote:A step down after a couple strong episodes but still has some bits. People who don’t like the “Larry David” character would have hated the episode, he laid in on a bit thick at times, particularly the part with the eggs. But those people probably don’t watch Curb.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
I don’t do this, but it’s not the same. It’s a condiment. It affects no one. If I frequented a great burger place and they had fucking Hunt’s, I’d bring Heinz with me. Ingredients and condiments are totally different.spike wrote:RM’s Jorge brings his own hot sauce to restaurants.wease wrote:Jerry and Courtney Cox brought their own syrup into Monk’s on Seinfeld.Biff Pocoroba wrote:Apparently LD does this in real lifedaft twat wrote:Yes, it was a step down, but I still had some laughs. I used to bring it to the neighborhood pizza parlor but I've since moved and I don't take it anywhere anymore.
