It's Elaine's fake boyfriend who is an importer/exporter.
When George convinces her to set him up with Marisa Tomei, they create the alibi that they're meeting to talk about how Elaine's boyfriend wants to give up the exporting and focus on the importing, but "George felt that she was too adamant her stance that he should focus on the exporting and forget about the importing".

Yes but the name was there almost from the beginning. And as an importer/exporter.

My memory is some combination of the Seinfeld episode, the Heat scene where he says he works in metals, and a 3rd, as of yet undiscovered thing, where two people talk about telling people they have boring jobs so the other person won't ask questions about it.
