Yeah, I'm doing this as well. The Color Purple was beautiful, but E.T. and Close Encounters felt like revelations this time around. The way he expresses themes, ideas, and emotions, his eye for visuals, effects, and cinematography, John Williams's immaculate scores - they are overwhelming cinematic experiences. Think I'm gonna watch Hook next.

Yeah, Minority Report is good. But I definitely prefer sweeping, emotional Spielberg.

I havent seen hook since..maybe that day in the cinema? I was obsessed with the movie before i watched it...saw it on spain during a trip because i woudnt wait.
i was let down with the movie though.

well nope. I was 9 years old...i was down because i didnt quite liked it. Peter Pan growing up? and i guess i dont like robin williams at all.
