Well, a classic Hanna episode being selfish and self absorbed. Loved how Jessa breaks the news to her too...

At this point, is the a way these characters can redeem themselves?

She's also younger and is coming from a place of sheltered naïveté and finding out what being selfish gets you. The other 3 just continue being self-centered despite all that it has gotten them.

I dont think she learn her lesson with her going to ritter´s place and getting all frustrated with him.

Going into the finale I can say this has been their best season; it's actually become one of my favorite shows out there right now.

For the first two years I called it one of the top 3 to 5 shows on television (keep in mind Breaking Bad and Mad Men were both on at that time). And I have to say, while I still very much enjoyed most of seasons 3 & 4, this season has been a revelation. It is absolutely the best season of the show so far.

Marnie is back to being her annoying, oblivious self. And Hanna is still a dickhead. But I really think that her relationship with Fran played as wholly unrealistic. We never saw them have a happy moment in their relationship.
I agree. Also, why would Fran date Hanna in the first place?

"Hannah was included in The Atlantic’s #ActualWorst bracket, with Gillian White writing about Hannah’s “staggering level of self-absorption.” (Hannah lost her bid for #ActualWorst to Hannibal Lecter.)"
