2023 is the first year I can remember where my top 3 favorite films of the year were written and directed by women.

me too, dream job. I took whatever i wanted to see. Used to grab 3 or 4 movies for free. I still remember the clients, jesus christ. So many weird dudes.
There was this dude who had a little book and went to the porn section to look, opened the book and did some writing in his book. So weird. Or an alcoholic dude who was an Eastwood fan, but only for his westerns.
Fun times.

And come to think of it... Bottoms is also in my top 5. So 4 of my top 5 are written and directed by women. That's wild. Awesome, but wild.
