The Star Wars prequels aren't really for me but I could see why someone might enjoy them. The Hobbit movies are an abomination that should be killed with fire. Burn them.

The Hobbit actually pissed me off. I only part-watched the first one before tapping out. How did they manage to fuck that up? It was on a platter. They threw so much money at it! Unreal.

One of my least-favorite movie tropes is: character arrives at a new (to the audience) location. He is greeted by an intimidating looking character who seems to regard him with contempt. They stare each other down and exchange a few insults and right when it looks like they're about to throw down, the other character instead says "HOW'VE YOU BEEN, YOU OLD SON OF A GUN!" and they hug, revealing that they're actually old friends.
Did it start with Lando and Han? They should knock it off. It's annoying!

there is a rick and morty episode that kinda toys with the same idea
