Just read through this thread. The lack of love for potato bread is not surprising given it's semi-obscurity, though still a little disappointing.

i haven’t ventured into any dough-making beyond pizza and pasta. i just inherited a kitchen-aid mixer so that’s about to change. i plan to attempt something likely beyond my skill set when i try the undisputed king of breads: the croissant.
