There was a post on one of the movie subreddits that was a "filmbro starter pack" letterboxd lineup and it was all of my favorites. Not gonna lie, it triggered the hell out of me. Every single movie was great. I'll try to find it.

Okay, I found it. American History X is okay, not great. The Dark Knight hasn't aged particularly well for me (I prefer The Batman), but the rest of this list is outstanding. I am a filmbro in denial, apparently.

I love David Caruso so much. He's maybe becoming a top 10 actor for me.

I love going to the movies so much. I'm going to go to tomorrow. I don't like leaving my house and I don't like that I live somewhere that I need to drive if I want to go anywhere, and I don't like the half hour of trailers and commercials, but I do love the cinema. I'm gonna go tomorrow to see After the Hunt. I also don't like that I kind of feel like reaching out to my buddy that I often go to the movies with because I really do like doing things on my own.

I saw Bugonia at the movies yesterday. It was good!

I had previously thought about going to see that new Leo Dicaprio flick tomorrow evening, but my attention span is trash

I'm not a huge fan of this movie but I have seen it twice now and one thing I can definitely say for it is that it never drags. It's a long runtime but it absolutely flies by. Doesn't feel like a long movie

As Jorge said, the pacing is one of its biggest strengths.

Burt is the only dumbass here who had a problem with the pacing. How embarrassing.

So I made a hash of this. Turns out it's a British and* Irish film festival, and there were no Irish films showing on the night I went. None of the Bri'ish films looked interesting, so we ended up seeing Bugonia instead. It was excellent.

I will try to catch an Irish film this weekend.

I've only seen a few of the others dubbed, but yeah I prefer this one dubbed for sure. Keaton is perfect.
