No way I'm blaming a hotel employee for this. I'm having a hard time believing there weren't some signs things were not right to the people around Chris. He sounded like shit at the show, for example. If the security guy had any questions in the back of his mind he probably shouldn't have given Chris a handful from the share size Ativan and 'waved goodbye' as he locked himself behind doors he didn't have a key to.

it's just crazy how quickly it all happened.. less than an hour after finishing a show - gone.

i'm sure we'll eventually hear from others who were around him that last day and that might somewhat explain this whole thing, but..

still so sad that he's actually gone

It's funny how everyone a loose "everyone grieves in their own way" turned into a people acting without any tact. A joke here or there ok. But for the entire thread to devolve into that? That seems kind of tasteless.

A guy did die. Maybe we could all try to be a little more honest and insightful out of respect.

It's not especially wise but my thoughts today amount to something like the truth about the world is that it is a very cruel and awful place. Chris's suicide is just more evidence of that.

Well I clarrified now. So all the facts are out.

And it's like even if the jokes are not mallicious they probably aren't the types of jokes you'd make in front of just anyone who is the proccess of grieving a death. It's like I might make a joke to my brother at a funeral that I would not make to mom. Well your mom and brother can both read these threads so smarten up.
