I thought the scene was excellent and felt real. It didn't make me like Hannah, but it humanized her.

I just hope the show doesn't end with an 'It takes a village..." moment.
Oh man hahahahahaha I can totally see that. Ending shot of Hannah standing triumphant in her apartment window, holding her baby. Camera pans out while Meredith Brooks "Bitch" is playing. Shot of the NYC skyline, aaaaand... roll credits.

well, a few good things, a few good lines in a really rushed episode..this season was weird, the pace was strange...even if i liked it, even if think its okey for them to be on this spot, it was really weird.

I liked it. It was enough and fitting for each of the characters. Still shocked that Marnie died like that.

I liked the episode. The party and bathroom scenes were two of my favorites of the season. Hannah had basically lost touch of Shoshana which explains why we've barely seen her lately. In the bathroom Sho spoke up, expressing herself like she did in the beach house episode and echoing what many viewers had thought what the other three women have become. She's also the one that "broke up" the group and brought a sense of closure and moving on for everyone.
We have childhood friends who we realize at some point as an adult we don't have much in common with anymore. People grow up, move away, get married/have kids and new social groups form as old ones dissolve. That's life, especially in your 20s.
I'm looking forward to the finale. Girls hasn't always been consistent but when it's been good it's been pretty great.

I liked the episode too. I think a lot of us can relate to college/early adulthood friends that you just drift away from.

yeah, this was captured really well. i especially liked how, once shosh put it all out there, it broke the ice and allowed the girls to just hang out again. they'll never be as tight as they once were, but it's not like they can't hang out and enjoy each other's company on a much less intense (and less often) level. i have relationships with old friends like that.

woah, my sister just told me that my dad loved this show. weird, but he enjoyed woody allen, and this has that vibe a little.

tragabigzanda wrote:Very good episode, if a little tidy and rushed. Shosh rules. I still hate the other girls, but their argument with each other felt like a rational way to end things, given how this season has gone.
They could have made it closer to 40 or 50 minutes and it would have worked a bit better, but I agree, very solid episode.

I believe they said the final episode is more an epilogue.
