If Your Child Said They Were A Cat

Hello GD,
You may have noticed news articles recently talking about kids who are identifying as feline. Some have gone to school boards and requested cat boxes in their school bathrooms or asked to wear tails.
As a parent, you know your child is trolling, but you're worried about how to put a stop to this. If you dismiss it immediately, you lose the moral high ground of being an accepting and good person. If you humor the cat thing in any way, your child will win and think you are a joke.
Obviously if your kid truly does think they are a cat seek professional guidance, but let's face it, they are trolling you.
Well, what do we do in this scenario, parents of RM?

Possibilities are boundless. They may really be a cat at heart, and in mind. But their bodies are human of course. This distinction must be made clear.

Sure, but those types of scenarios are going to require professional guidence. Remember, 999/1000 times this is really going to just be your kid testing the adults in his world to see if they are morons.

Unfortunately dad, this isn’t the case. It’s more of verb’s douchebaggery spilling over from the transgender thread in which he equates transgender people to those who say they are cats.
