He directed Fast & Furious 3-6. Also Better Luck Tomorrow, which is an underrated gem.

Simon Pegg didn't like the Star Trek: Beyond trailer either.

“It was very action-packed,” Pegg said of the trailer while speaking to Hey U Guys on Wednesday. “It was surprising. I find it to be kind of the marketing people saying, ‘Everybody come and see this film, it’s full of action and fun,’ when there’s a lot more to it than that.”

I'm still pretty excited for this, regardless. I'm going to trust that first trailer was a poor representation of what the final product will be. Plus Chris Pine AND Idris Elba?
