I disagree. I would write a letter in support of my kid. Asking for leniency b/c of his potential and past behavior, but saying he's paid too steep a price b/c he only fingered the girl for 20 minutes is ridiculous.

People are wasting a lot of time bitching about the judge. The kid was convicted of sexual assault. He probably should have gotten more, but he's not off scott free. Pick your battles.
