i think just bc it was a collection of unused tracks from previous albums. but, yeah, i think it counts

Outtakes collections shouldn't count as albums! Just like Greatest Hits compilations aren't albums

I don't actually know anything about the background of Coda. It's the only Led Zeppelin "album" I haven't heard. What was the intention of the album? Was it more like Lost Dogs or more like Let it Be?

It's like Lost Dogs if Lost Dogs had been released 12 years after Pearl Jam broke up.

A couple of special cases:
The Clash
Smashing Pumpkins

Both of these are under the name of a once-great band, but produced by pretty much the lead singer, and not the rest of the band. So it's debatable as to whether they should could - I say yes.
